at the Victoria Hotel , Torquay,

You put your right leg in,
You put your right leg out,
In, out, in, out,
And shake it all about...

....and with a bit of luck,
Geoff will become mesmorized.

In the meantime, John Stallard unsuccessfully attempts to convince the assembled throng that he remains sober, whilst Penny's knowing expression indicates the opposite.

Nearby, Margaret and Doug Shand entice a bewildered visitor into their lair and force him to take part in the photo shoot whilst Margaret removes his wallet from his back pocket. There'll be enough cash to fund another weekend away I'll wager!

RIOT lovers are a diverse bunch with personalities ranging from the subdued to the bizarre. As you can see in our photographs below Margaret Tustin has been caught uncharacteristically exhibiting her stately entrance to the hall.................

whilst a nameless lady from the other side of the tracks casts decorum aside and wrestles with her underwear in public, her modesty being solely protected by a rowdy group of friends who only succeed in attracting everyone's attention..........

Evidently, such antics get up some people's nose.....

......but most people just enjoy the music and get on with the dancing, be it squares......................

...........or rounds..........

....and, sometimes, even lines!

Now it wouldn't be a prestigious event without time being allowed for a high class raffle. This year's event was of such a high class that the function of some of the prizes was beyond the wit of a lot of the guests, and a team of technical experts was required to simplify matters.......

Finally, I close this brief pictorial account in good square dance style with the definition of a riot:

A disturbance of the peace by an assembly of persons:
Wild disorder and confusion:
Loose or wanton living:
Unrestrained revelry.

Our last picture of a demented transvestite wearing his raffle prize and yelling like a banshee is sufficient proof that Wyatt's Riot is definitely a RIOT!

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
