Christine & Rob

The club is run by Christine and Rob Branson. Big Chief Christine is the organisational supremo and she is assisted by a willing band of indians. Husband Rob just does the calling. The club meets every Monday (Mainstream), Wednesday (Plus) and alternate Sundays (Advanced). Please telephone 01202 478924 for  confirmation of venues and other details.

19th July 2008 £100 was raised at the Hog Roast dance. It was forwarded to the OAKHAVEN HOSPICE in memory of Fred Dashley
17th May 2008 £117 was raised at this dance. Added to the money raised on 26th April the total forwarded to LEUKAEMIA RESEARCH is £200.
26th April 2008

£83 was raised at this dance. It will be added to money raised at the dance scheduled for 17th May. The total money raised from both dances will be forwarded to LEUKAEMIA RESEARCH.
Note: 17th May would have been Norman Foster's birthday. Norman died from Leukaemia on 28th February this year and although he was better known because of his relationship with Texas Swing SDC, he was a good friend to, and a staunch supporter of, Pieces of 8.

3rd February 2008 £105-50 raised at the Dinner Dance. This has been added to the amount shown below and the resulting £180 is destined for the BREAST CANCER UNIT at Bournemouth Hospital
19th January 2008

£74-50 was raised at this dance. It will be added to money raised at the private function on scheduled for 3rd February. The total money raised from both dances will be forwarded to a charity yet to be decided.
